Easy Sugar Cookie recipe

I love to make these easy cookies and they are also very good to eat. I have tried for years to make cut out cookies with the kids for the holidays and they never worked out until this recipe. I like them because I don't have to wait for them to be refrigerated in order to roll them out.

 

Sugar Cookies

• 2 eggs
• 1/2 cup shortening ( I have used oil and it has worked fine)
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 cups flour

Preheat oven to 350 degree

 

Cream shortening and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour a little at a time to form the dough. Roll on a floured surface and cut out in desired shape. Bake about 8 -10 minutes.
