Chocolate Gravy
I love chocolate gravy and biscuits. This is a southern thing so you may not be familiar with this recipe. It is very good and easy to make. I go ahead and make my dry mix so I can just grab it when I am ready to cook it and then add my wet ingredients and it saves on time.
I add the following in a zip baggie:
3/4 cups sugar
3 Tablespoons flour
3 Tablespoons cocoa powder
then I write on the bag:
Add:
1 1/2 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
butter to your taste
When time to cook I add the dry mix to a pan and add the milk and cook together until desired thickness and then remove from heat and add vanilla and butter. Serve. I like mine with biscuits but my husband likes his without them and our kids don't really like it.
